This has been a semester unlike any other, and now we find ourselves heading into an especially long break. Where will we find our rest during this break? Listen this week as staff member, Sarah Fletcher, shares about how the story of the Bible ends and leaves us with a message of hope to carry with us into break. What exactly is the nature of salvation? This week, Pete Bullette tells us how our relational God established a covenant relationship with us through Jesus. Pete reads us through Revelation 19 and articulates how we must both pursue and rest in our relationship with Christ. Pete concludes by challenging us to consider if and how we are making ourselves ready for the marriage supper of the Lamb. 

Have you ever wished you could understand the tactics of the enemy? The book of Revelation does just that, giving us a peek inside the playbook of the enemy. Listen this week as we see how the enemy tries to push us toward disobedience through accusation, intimidation, and deception. Our passage tonight also, shows us Jesus' solution towards dealing with these attacks of the enemy so we can join Him in victory. This marks the tenth message in our sermon series on the book of Revelation as we seek to learn how the Bible reveals our ultimate reality.

What story are you living in? One of our XA alum who works oversees encourages us to consider the story that God is crafting around us. Through the book of Revelation and personal stories from his time at UVA, Andrew challenges us to reconsider the idea that we are the main character in our own narrative. This marks the ninth message in our sermon series on the book of Revelation as we seek to learn how the Bible reveals our ultimate reality.

How can we be Christians of steel? There is an ongoing cosmic battle between Jesus and Satan that engulfs our lives today. We are thankful to know that Jesus has already won, yet life remains difficult. Pete Bullette helps understand our current struggles in light of this cosmic battle and calls us to place our trust in the blood of the Lamb. 

Have you ever wondered about why we pray? In this sermon, Jen Moss explains that historically, when the praises go up, the blessings come down. Jen notes that God is listening to all prayers from all people and that his work in his people in history gives us confidence that he will respond to us when we pray. She concludes by asking us to consider how will we engage in prayer and how we desire to God respond. This marks the seventh message in our sermon series on the book of Revelation as we seek to learn how the Bible reveals our ultimate reality.

2020 has been a challenging year for many of us. Pete Bulette speaks on the nature and consequences of sin and how the hope that Jesus provides us during a difficult season.
